Weho Record Producer Hoarder Sale by Melrose Treasures Estate Sales

We just started prep but here are some early photos of what we are discovering so far. I will be posting new photos every day probably over the next week as we open tons of boxes throughout this property. 

The Shawn Estate;

Wanderlust couple married over 30 years, between the two of them there is 100 years worth of collecting. They loved to travel the world, specifically cruising. Collectively, the couple traveled millions of miles over their lifetimes.  When Mr. Shawn came to Los Angeles in the late 70’s he was a top salesman at Tower records. Later, he would become an executive at Columbia records in the 80’s working alongside some of the greatest talents of our time, talents like Pink Floyd, Boz Scaggs and Journey, to name a few. Both gentlemen served in the arm forces, with one serving in WWII and was a POW, captured by the SS. (he passed away about 7 years ago and was 100 years old) The other serving in Vietnam.
