Description & Details
The owners of Trashy Lingerie on La Cienega are moving to a smaller home after 22 years in their Frank Lloyd Wright, two-story home on Alfred St. in West L.A. They have been creating the sexiest of the sexy for rock stars, A- Listers, and production companies for many years (Did you happen to see the finale of Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday night?).
This sale is too big for one event so we have divided it into Three Phases:
Phase One - Now (See below)
Phase Two - Celebrity Collectibles (You won't believe it!)
Phase Three - Custom made Mission Oak Furniture, major appliances, and professional kitchen equipment (located in two different kitchens).
Phase One - Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 5-30, 5-31 and 6-1-13.
This sale is for individuals and businesses who hold large parties and love to entertain. There are numerous sets of china, pottery, glass, crystal, stemware, flatware, etc. Everything you need to prepare, cook and serve gourmet meals for 20. There are approximately 123 mugs from Trader Vics that were never put into production and a large collection of red pottery canisters (and many other kitchen items including small appliances in red).
Also available in this Phase are dozens of plants in 5-gal. Pots plus some very large plants while they last. All look like they were just purchased, healthy and thriving. And if you host pool parties, everything you could ever imagine in non-breakable dinner and bar ware is available.
She is a voracious reader of fiction, and there are over 1,000 books, all of which look brand new, all hardbound with jackets, and most written in the last 20 years, $2 each. Bookshelves line the living room walls up to the 32-foot ceilings. There is also a large cookbook collection.
There are a few pieces of furniture in this Phase, and the rest of the furniture, which is custom made and hand crafted Mission Oak, will be available in Phase Three, as soon as the house sells. But you can view it and make offers now.
Available to buy now, we have a 60" antique Rolltop desk that came out of the Los Angeles Dept. of Water & Power, a marble fireplace front, a Victorian walnut Settee, a Victorian Chair, a 3-paneled screen, two table lamps, and a brass floor lamp. There is an antique safe and a modern treadmill by TRICOR.
