Estate Sale - Los Feliz "Oaks"

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to an estate sale in the Oaks!

We have another wonderful sale for you this time. This is a case where mid century modern meets the southwest.

We are just starting this house so I can only give you a brief overview.

Chambers stove in rich red color in very good condition.

2 nice mid century modern pieces of furniture, one couch and a chair, lawyers bookcase, nice oak highboy with mirror, a nice chair that i think is stickley, some books, misc glass, indian baskets and a few pieces of native american pottery, abstract art, southwestern art and more. Costume jewelry, and some nice gold jewelry including a nice diamond engagement ring which we are having appraised by the jeweler.

We have a lighter collection including, older Ronson, Zippo and Thorens lighters, some unused in original boxes.

Also, the lady was a seamstress so there is a professional vintage singer sewing machine, threads, buttons, and all types of accessories.

As usual, There are no previews, no early bird sales and we will not quote prices over the phone!

Okay, we are well into setup now and I can give you some ideas of what is here.

Clothing: There is some nice ladies clothing, some still with tags, some designer some normal. There is a full length mink coat in dark color, total beautiful.

Men's suits, high class, Rick Pallack and others.

Jewelry: We have the usual costume jewelry and we found some nice gold jewelry including one older mine cut ring with 1 1/2 carats of diamonds (had the jeweler appraise it)

Sewing: The lady was a seamstress so there is old threads, yarn, wool, lots of older buttons, some trim, and a very fine older professional Singer full table sewing machine.

Native American Items: Lots of nice Indian Baskets, some round, some standing, all look nice and most are in very good condition. A few pieces of pottery, some Hopi, some Mexican but some very nice items. There is also Mexican rugs.

Furniture: Nice older natural color Wicker rocker, two pieces of Memphis Movement furniture one couch and a chair, a Globe Wernicke 4 level #299 book case, a fine serpentine dresser with mirror that  I think is pine, an old prayer table, and a few other miscellaneous pieces. Nice american federal short dressers.

A few pieces of weighted Sterling, a Steuben glass vase, some other glass collectibles,

A red Chambers stove in very good condition plus 2 refrigerators,

Mainly for the men, this gentlemen was a department of water and power worker in the 1950's. There are some really interesting old tools and equipment. Some nice older wooden foot lockers,

This is a nice comfortable sale with interesting stuff for everyone.

August 19:

We finished the garage and the tools are really nice. There are some really different tools here and he kept them in great condition.

Als from the garage we found a 22 caliber springfield rifle in near mint condition. This will be offered for sale at the sale.
