Terms & Conditions:
1. Bidder Registration and Approval:
By registering or placing a bid, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Lots Offered Without Reserve:
All lots are offered without reserve (no reserve). A lot offered without reserve will be sold to the highest bidder, subject to Artebonito's acceptance.
3. Condition and Descriptions:
All properties include a complete lot description and are sold "as is" and "where is." Artebonito does not provide guarantees beyond our descriptions. Buyers may request additional information before placing bids.
4. Bidding and Winning Bidder:
The highest bidder accepted by Artebonito will be considered the lot purchaser.
Artebonito reserves the right to reject any bid or bidder, resolve disputed bids, withdraw a lot before the sale, reopen bidding, or reoffer a lot when necessary.
All bids are binding and cannot be withdrawn or cancelled without Artebonito's written approval.
5. Buyer's Premium and Fees:
A 10% buyer's premium will be added to the hammer price of each lot purchased.
Applicable sales tax and any other charges disclosed in the lot description or on the auction page may also be added to the invoice.
6. Invoices and Automatic Payment:
Winning bidders will receive an invoice following the auction and will be charged within
24 hours after the invoice is issued.
7. Shipping Charges:
Flat-rate shipping fees are displayed on each individual lot page and will be added directly to the winning bidder's invoice.
The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and any applicable sales taxes, customs duties, and import charges.
8. Packing and Delivery:
All items will be professionally packed and shipped by an insured carrier. We will provide tracking information after dispatch.
Items are generally processed for shipment within 3 to 5 business days after full payment has cleared.
Buyers must provide a complete and accurate physical delivery address. P.O. Box addresses are not accepted.
Packing, handling, shipping, and delivery are undertaken at the buyer's expense. Artebonito is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, customs authorities, incorrect address information, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Any additional costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address, refused delivery, unsuccessful delivery attempt, or returned shipment will be the buyer's responsibility and expense.
Shipping delays or address problems are not grounds for cancellation of a completed sale.
9. Loss or Damage During Shipping:
Because shipments are insured, document and report any visible loss or damage promptly after delivery. The buyer must retain the original packaging, shipping label, photographs, and all related materials required to submit an insurance claim.
Failure to preserve the packaging or provide the requested documentation may affect the ability to process a claim.
10. Failure to Pay:
If a buyer fails to pay the full invoice or otherwise breaches these Terms & Conditions, Artebonito may exercise one or more of the following remedies:
Cancel the sale;
Suspend or terminate the buyer's bidding privileges.
11. Final Sale:
All sales are final. No returns, exchanges, cancellations, or refunds will be accepted.
Buyers should review the lot description, photographs, dimensions, and condition information before bidding.
