Art of the American West
Tuesday, May 25, 2021—12pm

Moran's kicks off the beginning of summer with Art of the American West on May 25th, 2021. It will feature historical Western art from Oscar Berninghaus, Henry Chapman Ford, Walter Ufer, Olaf Weighorst, and Gaspard de Latoix. Contemporary artists Larry Piernie and Malcolm Furlow add color and excitement to the wall art on offer. Bronzes represent more than 17 lots, including Earle E. Heikka's epic "Overland Stagecoach" and Joe Beeler's compelling "Speaker of the House." Nearly 50 lots of jewelry from the late 19th century through to today are represented. An American Indian First-phase, Second-phase, and trading post textile examples accompany an impressive local Southwest and California Mission basketry collection.
