In one of Newport Coast’s most exclusive and coveted enclaves, this Aix-en-Provence, France inspired estate boasts views from the verdant hills down to the blue Pacific framed by Catalina Island and Palos Verdes in the near distance…Now, imagine this setting filled with the most beautifully curated treasures, decorative accessories and furniture -- all now available for your perusal and purchase!

Here are the categories you will see…Carved and painted furniture in the Louis XV and XVI country taste, beautifully upholstered settees, side chairs, carved chairs and ottomans…carved barstools, a draw leaf table with painted chairs, a painted scenic cupboard, gilt and painted lamps and lighting, Venetian panels, 19^th C large French Romantic Scene painting, mirrors, beautifully framed engravings, stone entry and garden tables, cured juniper topiaries, a lacquer coffee table, side tables, chests, various iron accessory pieces, stemware, decanters, carved wooden decorative crowns and shields, fine linens and bedding.  

Access will be very limited so we are asking for serious buyers only…the format will be as follows: Once appointment times have been set, we will meet you in the courtyard where we will begin the tour of the estate in small groups. The owners are still living in the home and in order to protect their privacy have asked that all guests be accompanied throughout the home. 

As we tour through each room, you will indicate to me which items you are interested in purchasing, the card will be marked “sold” with your name. Once we complete the tour, you can finalize your purchases and take with you all smaller items that can be carried in hand. 

Large items will require Ortega’s Delivery Service (see below.)

Delivery of Large Items

Any large items (large paintings, furniture, rugs, etc.) will be delivered by Ortega’s Delivery Service. We will make the arrangements with Ortega’s for pick up and provide them details for delivery i.e. your name, address, etc.) You will pay Ortega’s directly for their delivery fee. Ortega’s is the only service we use, no other service will be accepted and you will not be able to pick up by making your own arrangements. This is for the safety and security of all. Thank you in advance for your understanding.  

Once we have set your appointment time, you will be given gate instructions as well as parking instructions. Please follow these instructions closely. Once again, appointment times will be in escorted small groups throughout the property. We look forward to welcoming you to this magnificent event. Not everything visible in the pictures is for sale...some are shots of the panorama and views of the estate. Thank you.

I obviously cannot accommodate everyone who requests "the first time slot on the first day."  An appointment on the second day does not mean that everything has been sold. Because of our format, there will be treasures to purchase each day.  Please give me your preference ie "earliest possible" or request a specific day and I will do my best to accommodate you based on the order in which I receive your email.

Safety protocols:

All guests must wear masks and maintain social distancing of 6 feet or more at all times. If you are ill, or have been recently ill or exposed to anyone who was ill, please do not request an appointment. Small, socially distanced groups will be escorted around the property for safety and security reasons.

Payment:

We prefer payment by check (from regular customers who are pre-approved) or by Zelle (online banking app that is contactless.)  If you must pay by cash, please bring multiple denominations and sufficient change in order to pay the exact amount. We will not have a cash box or cashier. Thank  you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
