This sale is located in a beautiful town home in Northridge. Sunday, May 1st ALL FURNITURE will be marked down 50% of original price. Jewelry, some art pieces and few items already discounted another sale will not be included in the 50%.
Please, no food or drinks are allowed inside the home. Also be mindful when handling fragile objects, please remember... "if you break it, you buy it!" We except PayPal & cash.
Bring able help and appropriate vehicles for larger items. Not responsible for accidents in home or on property, you enter premises at your own risk. All deposits are non-refundable and no refunds after transaction is complete. Please respect the neighbors by not littering, driving slow, and by not blocking driveways or double parking. Please park on the street. There is limited guest parking, and some parking available next door at The Wilkenson's Senior Center.

Please stay away from sensitive doors and windows, the alarm is active with an armed response. Also, please no early birds or after hours visitors, there is someone staying on property that should not be disturbed!

I have the sincere pleasure of hosting this downsizing sale for the lovely Evelyn Ritz. At 94 years young Evelyn is truly a remarkable person. Born in Canada in 1921 Evelyn has lived a life filled with wonderful stories and adventure. Her parents were Romanian Jews who fled Europe before her father was forced to be inducted into the army... and ultimately WW-1. They ended up fleeing to Canada where they lived in a small French-Canadian town and then the City of Montreal for 6 years. Then in 1927 Evelyn and her family moved to New York City, and then 9 years later to Culver City, California. It was in California that at the age of 16 she met her one and only love David Ritz. They soon were married just prior to David going into the Navy and off to serve his country in WW-2. David came home after 2-1/2 years of service in the Philippines where he was greeted by their first born son Ron. Evelyn and David Ritz would also have a daughter Debbie and call Culver City their home for the next several years. David was in the grocery business and had a successful grocery store in Inglewood for over 20 years. The two remained lovingly married for 68 years and enjoyed a total of 7 grandchildren! Sadly, David passed 5 years ago but his memory lives on through Evelyn.

I asked Evelyn - "What is your secret to vitality?" Pointing to the long staircase in her town home..."Those stairs have kept me alive, you just have to keep moving!" Evelyn also exercises at the Wilkinson Senior Center next to her home, and has been an active artist doing her beautiful beading for the last 40 years. Her sharp, creative mind, youthful physique and agility is truly inspiring... Spending time with Evelyn and her positive energy really makes you want to "keep moving!"

Evelyn's beautiful beaded "Parrot on a Branch" framed art is one of several pieces up for sale.
