Hermés Inspired Bookcase - made of wood and covered in leather, gilding, embossed hand-tooled 'books' - Amazing! He was told it was 'Hermés' but no documentation so we can only call it 'inspired'. It's incredible. Photos coming.

Asian art, accessories
Art: Cornelis Botke 1887-1954 Botke was primarily a landscape painter but was also known as a skilled etcher and block printer. Born in Holland, he eventually ended up in Santa Paula with his artist wife. Botke has an extensive art background with the Art Institute of Chicago, taught at the Carmel Arts and Crafts and has had his work shown many times at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (1931, 1933, 1934, 1938 and 1939) and also at the Art Institute of Chicago.
