 Upon entering, you are greeted by a life size Suit of Armour, standing "guard" to an extensive collection of late 18th, early 19th Century American Primitives: tilt-top and drop leaf tables, corner hutch, sideboard, dressers. commodes, blanket chest and chairs.  Antique mahogany Secretary and drop front desks, Tall Case Grandfather, mantle and wall clocks, antique Persian and vintage American Indian rugs, bronze and pewter Western themed sculptures. Antique upholstered sofas and arm chairs, massive carved solid oak Harvest table w/8 chairs, Victorian marble top bedroom set, 4 poster canopy bed, ship captain's desk, sheet music cabinets, multiple stacking lawyer's bookcases and library table.  3 generation collection of English Blue Willow china, large set of Antique Limoges china, crystal stemware and cut glass.

 

Owned by a prominent, East Bay Physician who lovingly filled it with music and the well appointed interior one would expect in such a fairytale dwelling. He collected model trains, ship and car models, antique scales and steam engines.  Great period art:
