This 2,000 square foot home is packed full of 30 years of accumulating. We are just beginning to unearth the treasures that have been collected. Starting with the garage, we have seen tools, freshwater fishing equipment such as 4 Penn reels, 1 Newell and others, various salt water and many freshwater rods, fly fishing equipment, 2 sets of freshwater waders, tons of lures, fly tying machine, a framed photo of John Wayne and camping gear --a couple of tents & sleeping bags, tarps, and Coleman lamps,1800's Long John Silver treasure chest, old Philco radio cabinet, and original oil paintings that were in the attic above the garage. Moving into the office, you will find electronic equipment and desks. The guest bedroom has a brass bed and lovely painted Ethan Allen furniture. Two nicely aged leather couches are in the living room, with current Asian rugs, a large square coffee table with a glass top, Tiffany style lamps, and a 60" Pioneer Plasma TV with Bose surround sound speakers. We saw a couple of keyboards. The kitchen is packed, and the bookshelves full of books, including the Harvard Classics and Junior Classics. There's an old turntable and LPs. The master BR has a matching set of Bernhardt furniture: 4-poster bed, dresser, chest of drawers, and armoire. There are 2 signed and framed Robert Lyn Nelson prints. This will be a knitter's paradise, with tons of instructional manuals and hard to find DAK 6 software, magazines, some unusual miscellaneous equipment such as a Knit Radar 7, and spools of yarn up the wazoo. Two sewing machines are available. Frog and duck lovers will find collectibles in many forms--from ceramic to brass. Duck lovers and hunters will some interesting collectibles and artwork, including signed works by Richard Sloan and Sherrie Russell. We have a a 104 piece set of Rogers gold plated stainless dinnerware, crystal decanters, and other assorted glassware. And now, for the tall Glamour Gals--you can shop to your heart's delight: Lots of BLING! Hundreds of Plus Sized glitzy dresses and evening gowns--perfect for packing for a cruise, Chico's outfits, workout clothes, Lane Bryant, jeweled caftans, size 10 shoes, purses---many of which still have the tags. Add to that LOADS of costume jewelry and incredible belts. This could be a store. Oh, and did I mention the white mink jacket? For the guys, we have men's large clothing, belts and belt buckles and a couple of Stetsons. We even found a Carnival Glass punch bowl, still in its original box. Going outside, there is patio furniture--umbrellas, tables, chairs, planters, etc.
More to follow as we progress. Photos will be added daily. This promises to be a fun day!
