Hello Everyone!
Orange this week! Close to the Antique hub of the Circle!
This Ranch-Style house is loaded with stuff-traditional antiques and modern farmhouse style and everything in between!
For starters, A super cute RED Farmhouse style table with 2 leaves and 4 chairs. To perfectly accompany/compliment this is a large entertainment center-also Red- and a red Lane chest. All relatively new and in excellent condition. These all in a huge family room mixed with real deal primitives. Cute painted curio cabinet, 2-2 cushion sofa, an upholstered arm chair(or 2!), a vintage coffee table and sofa table. Antique drop leaf table. A large sturdy hand-made rocker. The living room has 2 retro upholstered chairs(cute and decent condition!), an upholstered sofa, a retro side table and newer coffee table. The master bedroom has a nearly new Mission-style king bed with an adjustable mattress(also nearly new). Matching Mission dresser! 3 barstools-again nearly new and very stylish! File cabinets and vintage trunks. A desk and more that I know I’ve forgotten, for now.
The office holds computer stuff and more. A tower, monitors, and computer specialty items. There is media and vintage electronics including radios and film reels. This room has things like decanters, and some vintage sports items. There is also a selection of cameras and various collections of old family items. Several boxes of LPs, 45s and others. AA selection of office supplies, paper, books and magazines. There is several pieces of Tommy Bahama style items. A hand carved cherub table, stools and more.
Then there is the family room and living room "tables full". Starting with the family room, there is an impressive Bicycle collection! Wall-mounted and standing Bikes! Mostly all metal and wood and all art! Glassware(Depression glass and more), and the usual knick-knacks that you find around a home. A fun vintage Coca-Cola game table light and a few other Coke items Retro glass and more. Several sets and partial sets of china and dinnerware. Silver plate, American Brilliant, cups and saucer sets and more. Primitives including boxes, barrels, tools and etc. There is a vey nice selection of large decorative pieces and home accents. A nice little Disney collection and other collectible figurines.
Kitchen is full of the usual suspects BUT better, nicer! Take one look at this house and say PARTY HOUSE! I did. It includes cookware and appliances but on a grand scale. There are tons of versatile glass dinnerware, loads of stemware, and 4 professional chaffing pans. So much stuff!
There is a room devoted completely to linens. Everything from bed linens, to table linens, modern to antique. Another nice Mission-style dresser. A fine selection of vintage luggage pieces. And by the way, there is various art s/n prints, cute signs, boards and more throughout the house.
There is a nice selection of women's clothing in the master BR. Lighting, a nice small drop-leaf side table and a spool cabinet used as a nightstand. Vintage hats. Then that brings us to the children's room! SO cute! Toy chests, a bench, a dresser, childrens table and chairs, and various decorative pieces. So many toys but SO. MANY. COSTUMES! They are definitely vintage to modern and childs to adult. Many vintage and antique pieces that were added to their costume box. Fancy vintage shoes. Competition Cheer costumes from the 70s! Vintage stuffed animals(Snoopy, Winnie, and more) A very admirable doll collection. Fashion dolls, Madame Alexander, baby dolls, Daddy Long Legs, Older porcelain, some Barbies and more.
YES, there is jewelry-quite a bit! That being said, I'm not sure I've done a sale before with this much costume jewelry! I have been through most and the largest portion is going in my famous $3- crate. There is stuff from fine to fun. Pieces both vintage and modern. Still looking at this but again, GREAT costume and fine pieces gold and silver. (No valuables kept on premises at any time.)
Then there is the garage. There are some hand tools and the regular garage stuff. There is ambulatory equipment, cleaning supplies and so much we haven’t yet gotten to There is a working fridge here. This is where most of the Christmas stuff is-So much from vintage to modern. Great pieces-the lady had an eye! I say "most" is here because we have an entire large side-bar devoted to Christmas entertaining, in the house. The Mrs. was an Avon Lady for a good, long time. There are HUNDREDS of Avon bottles(mostly in their original boxes), dating back to at, least, the 1970s
Then there is the backyard. Pots, more sports stuff, cute garden decor and metals, fire pit, outdoor plastic wicker, 2 black and red Farmhouse rockers and more. A very vintage Retro Patio table and chairs-they tell me it's from the 70s! An OxBow surfboard in very nice condition (My hubby's used boards only look this nice for a minute!)! Beach chairs and umbrellas, a large pet crate and more.
