This is the home of the late John Danley who died
this past year at the ripe old age of 104. A Santa Monica
native, Danly was a retired executive with Merle Norman Cosmetics
and a WWII veteran. His home is filled with multi-generations of
treasures ranging from a rare Cunard Line Ware cup and saucer
(same as that used on Titanic) to 1960s Lionel trains, Paul Lauritz
"plein air" art, vintage furniture, 1970s retro-chic collectibles, mid-century
barware, 1890s Wedgwood Lilac dinner service, contemporary Kosta Boda
and Tiffany art glass, American brilliant, vintage linens, Bohemian glass,
a multitude of antique and vintage service pins including Douglas Aircraft and
Merle Norman, old Tonka toys, old tools, patio furniture, plants, garden decor,
vintage clothes, linens and jewelry. Highlights include authentic
circa 1912 mens lifeguard and swimsuits, NIB Hermes scarf, antique baby's
christening gown, vintage aprons, plus fine examples of Hollycraft
and Donald Stannard jewelry, fine jewelry, and a huge collection of vintage
cufflinks. The house and a full garage are simply crammed with the
memorabilia of a long life well lived.

exterior condition.....with only 73,000 miles on it!!
