Rare Sapphire Mist 9-drawer Basset Dresser / Buffet and Mirror. (Mirror pictured separately.) 
This handsome piece is most likely from the 1950s. Leo Jiranek was the main designer for Basset at the time, however in doing research Paul Bruno is also referenced as the possibly designer. This is an extraordinary and rare design with dramatic angled relief side panels and exquisite brass hardware. In some Basset advertisements the color is noted as Sapphire Mink and in others Sapphire Mist.
Top of the dresser needs some work. Additional photos available upon request. Asking price for the dresser and mirror $2,500. NOW $2,000! (Set price  NOW $3,200. This handsome headboard and night stands are most likely 1950s; the doors on the headboard are movable. Each nightstand has one opening and one drawer for storage. (See additional photo for unique angles of the sideview.) Leo Jiranek was the main designer at the time, however in doing research Paul Bruno is also referenced as the possibly designer. Interesting feature, the headboard actually rests on the night stands so it can accommodate a single, full, or queen size mattress. This is an extraordinary and rare design.

The ornate fans edging the mirror, while not chipped, need to be re-silvered; they are joined with brass corners.  The mirror has two brackets attached, which allow it to be added or removed from the main piece easily.

Block Print by Carol Summers – Altiplano 1977 (Artist Proof).  A noted artist, Carol Summers has worked throughout the second half of the 20th century and into the first years of the 21st.  Carol Summers is a trained artist and was drawn to color woodcuts around 1950; it became his specialty thereafter. Over the years he has developed a process and style that is both innovative and readily recognizable. His art is known for it's large scale, saturated fields of bold color, semi-abstract treatment of landscapes from around the world and a luminescent quality achieved through a printmaking process he invented.
Carol Summers has been auctioned at LAMA, among other fine auction houses. This large, artist proof, print is handsomely framed and measures 35.5” x 48” framed, print 24” x 37”. Signed in graphite. Artist Proof, aside from set of 90. Asking price  $1,250. NOW $1,000!Tissue Collage by Gaylord Flory – Modern Dance. This is a very rare and colorful piece by Gaylord Flory made of tissue paper depicting modern dancers. Beautiful hues of pink and red and handsomely framed. Total measurement 34” W x 28” H. This beautiful 1940s dining table has a combed wood base, in typical Paul Frankl manner, with a black lacquer top and footings. There are two leaves that exted the table by 30 inches. The set comes with eight, black lacquered, lattice back chairs with handsome Italian fabric; two ‘captains’ chairs and six side chairs.
Chairs and fabric are in good to very good condition, however the table edges have some nicks. Additional photos available upon request.

This table is an extraordinary example of mid-century fascination with aerospace; a beautiful mosaic on a brass bass.  Measures 19” square and stands 15 1/2” tall and is very good condition. Scott Yeskel is a California artist and paints both abstract and representational landscapes switching back and forth using many of the same colors and themes. Inspired by mid-century masters, Yeskel’s oil paintings are true statements of contemporary California living. This is a rare piece for Scott depicting a woman in pink on a Russian subway. Tony de Carlo (1958-2014) was a native of Los Angeles. He was a self-taught artist and created art on a daily basis since his childhood. His vivid, sensuous paintings burst with color and always seem to have a touch of surrealism in each piece. He features the people, neighborhoods, landscapes, cityscapes, dogs and flowers that he sees in his daily life.
His work has been exhibited regularly in museums and galleries throughout the United States, and his paintings are in collections around the world. Framed, the piece measures 35 1/2” T x 28 1/2” W. Extremely sturdy, tightly woven rug with fringe/tie-offs visible on the back (typical of a Soumak,) and looks like it has been used but it is in very good shape. Asking price  $4,500. NOW $3,600!Early 20th Century Moroccan Soumak Rug. 
This is a very beautiful and intricate Moroccan “soumak” style rug, measuring 60” x 126” (5’ x 10’ 6”).
Extremely sturdy, tightly woven rug with fringe/tie-offs visible on the back (typical of a Soumak,) and looks like it has been used but it is in very good shape. Asking price  $4,500. NOW $3,600!Extremely large, by kilim standards, and beautiful Turkish Kilim in pinks and gold tones. Measures 118” x138” (9’ 18” x 12’ 6”)
This kilim is quite finely made, very light and thin; there is some slight wear. 
Asking price  $2,250. NOW $1,800!Very cool, Moroccan Beni Quarain Hendiras rug. Extremely long fringe/tie-offs on the back. Originally used by shepard’s as a wrap; tightly woven side for the rain, 'flokati 'side to be used in the snow. These hand-woven carpets are often much plusher and softer than an average area rug. They are made from the wool of sheep kept at high elevations, which yields an especially thick, warm fiber. Measures 93” x 51” (7’ 11” x 4’ 3”). In beautiful condition. Asking price  $1,800. NOW $1,500!Original Oil by Michael Workman – Recollection (530). 
Michael Workman received both his B.A. and completed his M.F.A. from Brigham Young University, 1992. His style has been called "contemporary traditionalism" as noted by Focus/Santa Fe Magazine, February/March 1992, and 'transcendental tonalism" by Southwest Art, September 1996. He was highly influenced by George Inness who believed that art should evoke emotion in people. Workman's art has won wide acceptance by collectors, artists and critics.
While generally his paintings are in the size range of 12x16 to 36x72 inches, this piece measures 16 1/2” W x 11” T (unframed 14 3/4 by 9 1/4). Michael’s work is carried by The Meyer Gallery, Santa Fe, and is stamped on the back Michael Workman, noting the title -‘Recollection’ 530.  All his paintings are on birch board surrounded by frames designed or personally selected by the artist.  He feels the frame is a critical element in the totality of his art. Asking price  $4,250. This is the original version made in 1936. Marked / stamped Bruno Mathsson on the center piece. Teak top, beech bottom; this is one of the most versatile tables ever designed. Each panel is 26” and the table opens to roughly 3’, 6’, 9’ or 12’ while completely closed it measures only 9 1/2” wide! Although there are replicas of this table remade in the mid-century, this is the original and a collector’s piece.
One panel has a scratch.  The top may have been refinished, at some point. Asking price $2,750. NOW $2,250!This is the original Bruno Matthson Maria Gate Leg Table stamp on the center piece used when the table is closed.
Made in 1936. Teak top, beech bottom; this is one of the most versatile tables ever designed. This beautiful lamp is a perfect example of the Chicago-based Continental Lamp Company. It depicts a wonderful free, dancing spirit with the most extraordinary eight-panel raw silk shade, which is in perfect condition. Total lamp height, including original matching finial is 35” and it is approximately 15” across at the widest. The shade is 14” h x 21” w x 16” d.  It is in good condition (slight damage near the top under the shade;) well-weighted piece. Asking price  $295. NOW $225Set of Four Overman AB "Tango" Stacking Chairs Denmark. 
So rare, so mod, this is a set of four “Tango” stacking chairs designed by Overman AB, Denmark, c 1960's of molded beige plastic. There is some discoloration in keeping with the age of the chairs. No chips, no repairs, there are some scratches that can be buffed out.

Siesta chair, circa 1970s, made of orange sailcloth and wood. This is a shorter version of the high-back chair measuring 32”H x 25”W x 17D. Base measures 28” from front to back. These are not marked however they could possibly be Westnofa, the detail is that good.
Some discoloring to the sailcloth as expected with the age of the chair. Wood oil will bring back the wood to perfection. Asking price  $450. NOW $300!Highback Siesta Bentwood Chair with Ottoman. (Pictured with shorter version for comparison only.)
High-back Siesta chair and attached head pillow with ottoman, circa 1964, made of orange sailcloth and wood. Chair measures 39”H x 25”W x 17”D, ottoman: 17”H x 25”W x 21”D (not pictured.) Base measures 28” from front to back. These are not marked however they could possibly be by Westnofa, the quality is that good.

In keeping with the bentwood style, the legs are made of bentwood and attached to a table top. The measurements are 28”W x 22”D x 16 1/2” Tall.

This extraordinary ashtray, in blue and gold tones, is an excellent example of fused glass made famous by pioneering glass craftsmen Michael and Frances Higgins. This piece measures 14” x 10” and is roughly 1 1/4” tall and is signed. In beautiful condition. (Photographed on black, however pieces of the glass are clear.) Asking price  $250.
