Welcome to the New Year, and our NEW NAME !
Formerly known as, " J & J Estate Sales", we are now, " POMELO ESTATE SALES" - ( It was brought to our attention, there are at least 2 other estate sale companies with J and J in the title, Lol ! ) You will still find Julie and Joe and all the usual crew, and we will be thrilled to see you !
Our first sale this year is an awesome property up in the Kinneloa Mesa, filled with fabulous treasures from the owners travels all over the world !
Some of the more extraordinary pieces include a handsome 6 foot tall carved figure from New Guinea, surrounded by several very large masks from New Guinea , Africa and more. There is also a very large "tribal art" carved Story Board !
We also have a fabulous collection of various sizes of carved wooden, straw and ceramic masks, each unique, all fascinating.
As you can see in the pictures, there is a STUNNING, beautifully framed , Chinese Opera Kimono with exquisite embroidery in excellent condition. A real showpiece !
Another piece that will knock your eyeballs around is brightly colored, hand woven Ethnic throw/rug with incredible patterns and texture.
A Sergio Bustamante very large, copper and brass hanging Toucan.
A fabulous Argentinian weaving of man, spaceman/Alien and spaceship !!!! Story to follow...
