Estate Sale in Northridge, Ca.with nearly 1000 Model Car, Planes and more

This is the estate of Samuel, Roslyn and Eric.

Samuel was born in Canada, became a US citizen in New York where joined the Army. After serving his country in WWII, he married the love of his life, Roslyn. Sam embarked on a long successful career as a mechanical engineer. He traveled the world for his work and was accompanied by his wife as they lived in Korea, England, and Australia, back in U.S. they lived in Georgia, Arizona and settled in there California home in 1958. As they traveled they purchased many beautiful decorative items for their home, especially in Asia. Roslyn was a housewife who with Samuel raised their family.
Roslyn, a very statuesque women was always impeccably dressed in fine fashions and jewelry.
Eric, from the time he was five, had an eye for cars and planes. He amassed an enormous collection of models that he himself built over a thirty year span. His passion and attention to detail is a testament to the beauty he saw in each model. Hope you enjoy all of the family's treasures and offer new homes for their legacy.

 

We will be opening boxes thru Wednesday night, but everything in the house, yard and garage will be sold during these 3 days.

·        Furniture for every room or space including – entryway, living room, family room, dining room, breakfast room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms – with Twin, Double and Queen size beds, PLUS all the furnishings that would complete these rooms. An office with supplies, an extra-long drafting table, and desks of all sorts – from traditional to formal setting.

·        Many styles of mirrors and a unique clock end table. 4 Queen Ann chairs, leather recliner and lamps galore. Rosewood oval mirror on stand. 4 small green leather top tables plus other small tables.

·        MANY pieces of Mid-Century Modern furniture – coffee tables, a slat bench, long 1 piece curved sofa, dining room set with matching credenza, and an RCA High Fidelity Stereo system in Mid-Century Modern cabinet.

·        Very eclectic collection of paintings found hidden in the attic including - 1940 Bull Fight framed poster, along with several other prints and oil paintings.
