Description & Details

This lovely home to a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel reflects 40 years of travel and adventure, including an extraordinary and eclectic collection of art and sculpture, furnishings and military memorabilia.

The owner grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas and then attended the University of Texas, majoring in Business Administration. From his first trip to the World's Fair in New York City at age 15, he caught the travel bug, which led to him joining the Air Force after college. He served for 30 years in the Air Force, and flew the P38 Pilot (one of the fastest airplanes in the world at that time) and then the C130. He was stationed in the Pacific during World War II, and made it a point to take every opportunity abroad to travel and see the sights.

This estate includes an Eames Chair, Papua New Guinea tribal masks, and other art and furnishings that demonstate a life well lived, discerning taste, an illustrious career and a love of travel.

With each travel adventure, the owner brought back unique treasures that he has curated and collected for many years.  He now wants others to enjoy these great finds as much as he did.

Sale will be held from 8am to 5pm on June 3rd and 4th.

Please bring boxes and any other items or carrying help that will aid your transport.
