Rue Michelle Antiques is pleased to announce the Estate of one of San Diego’s  and Californias most  noted decorators retiring at 87 years old.

This is with upmost certain the best sale in San Diego’s history or at least in the top 5  for European European furniture and decorative arts.

Note photos will be added every day starting Tuesday thousands of photos to come no joke really.

A longtime friend of mine where I started my career in the 1990s buying and conversing with our client since I was 25 years old , Now I am 54 and it is a honor to represent this decorator legends / friends estate at 87 years of age.

A retired  Interior Designer who attended the famous Parsons school of Design  and graduated  in 1960s Then worked at Sloans in Manhattan, later coming to Los Angles and then settling in San Diego .

Decorated many of the fine homes in Southern California including the Armours estate among others.

This estate encompasses all styles of furnishings French, Italian , English 18-20c Neoclassical all the way to modern and mid century.

There is all levels of items and price points , while most of the items are in the $500-2000  many are under and many above.

Note some things are not for sale at this point .

In addition some items will be placed at auction on Live Auctioneers. Which will run in a ( timed auction)

This sale will be by appointment only.

Note this is a Nationally featured sale and we have excellent ( inexpensive) professional shipping , we make no markup on the shipping and will take it to the shipper for free , exelent Crateing and packaging worldwide.

We are going to start photographing tomorrow and plan to start the sale in  around the 23rd but NOTE not a exact date as many photographs need to be taken .

However we will be accepting appointments to view and but sometime starting the 23rd the 24th of April

Don’t hold me to the exact date as it is a massive amount of photos like a few thousand, The sale will be over the course of a few weeks 

Thanks for first of all being patient and 2 nd understanding the circumstances of the overwhelming collection of 60 plus years from all the finest estates in Southern California.

You will see all the photos first being dark this are  group photos to get a idea of the amount of stuff  then I’ll single them out with lights. Bear with me
