Local San Diego Artist's Estate Sale by RB Estate Services

First a note:  Some of you have heard me talk about growing up with my artist Mother.  She was very fun and a little nutty.  There were times that my brother and I would have to remind her that it was time for dinner.  She would be lost in a painting and would not want to stop or she just lost all track of time.  Our walls were always changing as her paintings were bought and new ones painted.  This was my world growing up.

This is another artist that has been in the local art scene for over 40 years. Her name was Lois Stecker and she recently passed away at 92, but left a wonderful legacy for us to see and enjoy.  When I first came to this home, so many memories and feelings came flooding over me.  This is a true artist home with so much to see and look at in every corner. I think you can see how she used each room to help create her art. Her home is set up like a gallery but only better.  We have not only her art but art of her friends and peers.  There is also a fantastic assortment of art books and art supplies. We have some antique furniture and Mid century furniture as well. We have some nice china (Haviland Limoge), hand thrown pottery, crystal, silver plate, vintage linens and plenty of entertaining pieces.  There will be records, jewelry, desks, electric beds, dressers, file cabinets and mementos she has picked up in her travels.  The kitchen is stocked so if you know someone setting up a dorm or new appartment this is a great time to take a look.  There is  some patio furniture and a few plants. 

We will be open SATURDAY and SUNDAY ONLY!!  Our hours will be 9:00 until 3:30 both days.  Very close to Balboa and Genesee and very close to the 163 and 805 freeways.
