Description & Details

This historic home was designed by San Diego Architect, Richard S. Requa.  Requa is well known for his designs relating to the 1935 Exposition;the Spreckles Theatre and numerous historic homes throughout San Diego. 

Parker H. Jackson, the deceased owner of the historic estate, was the volunteer conservator of Requa historical related documents, photos, books and wrought iron designs, which have been donated to the San Diego History Center for historic preservation and research.

Mr. Jackson was an avid collector of so many interesting and one of a kind objects. This estate is a wonderful opportunity for the San Diego community to purchase these rare and interesting objects.

The following is being sold:

Furniture..tile top tables, antique Spanish, mid-century, teak rush, Spanish wrought iron, demi-lune desk, vintage leather couches and chairs, antique kitchen table; architect drafting table(perfect for storing maps, water colors), etc...

Vintage wrought iron collection...lamps, candle holders (many floor..) tables, patio, bakers shelf.......

Steinway player piano ,1929, model L Grand Mahogany....included hundreds of rolls.

Collection of Wedgewood (some rare), fine crystal (Waterford), pewter, Heisey punch bowl, Majolica (English Brown Jardiniere,large vase), stain glass windows, Ruby red wine decanter with bottles..much more
