This historic home was designed by San Diego Architect, Richard S. Requa. Requa is well known for his designs relating to the 1935 Exposition;the Spreckles Theatre and numerous historic homes throughout San Diego. Parker H. Jackson, the deceased owner of the historic estate, was the volunteer conservator of Requa historical related documents, photos, books and wrought iron designs, which have been donated to the San Diego History Center for historic preservation and research.
