 His wife stated " her husband loved to collect and never sold anything" The wife has decided to downsize to a one level small house. The couple were  both avid collectors of plein air art, pottery and when you see the photographs much more...

The sellers lived in their 1920's Kensington Spanish house for 1953 (1971). The husband (recently passed) was a prominent land use attorney in San Diego, contributed his expertise to many local organizations ( Park & Recreation Commission, SD Museum of Art, Old Globe Theater, and more. The wife has also been active in many local organizations such as Junior League, San Diego History Center,, San Diego State, etc....

The wife's family were third generation San Diegans and her father was Lowell Davies, 35 year President of the  Old globe Theater Board over seeing the theater's move from community theater to professional theater. The Old Globe came to be named Best Regional Theater at the annual Tony Awards/New York.

This is an beautiful and interesting sale....so many unique objects..
