Before we go any further let me be very specific that these items are dust jackets only and there are no actual books associated with the titles. These dust jackets were meant to go on actual books and put on a bookshelf to be discovered and due to their outlandish titles get a laugh...or a gasp. The inside cover of each of these jackets describes them the best:
"This series of ridiculous and amusing book jackets was developed to provide thousands of Americans with an opportunity to amaze and amuse their friends and party guests with a new and different form of subtle humor."
The subject of some of these jackets are off color, shocking, and borderline offensive, but that was what they were supposed to be. They were supposed to shock people and catch them off guard to get a laugh and stimulate conversation. There are eight jackets and I have yet to find another jacket title that is not in this set.Sale PictureSale PictureSale PictureSale Picturevintage suit cases and tool boxesSale Picturecoin collectionSale Picturehundreds of Radio and TV tubeshundreds of Radio and TV electron tubes
