Our staff is here to provide guidance, answer questions, and offer order in what is sometimes a sea of chaos. Please consider any physical labor they provide to be outside of the scope of their job and should be appropriately compensated by the buyer. Some heavier items may be strictly limited to ‘you move’ and will generally be marked as such.

However, we are unable to hold on things for much longer than the advertised duration of the sale. If you left something behind, forgot about an item, or are having trouble making arrangements for pickup please communicate with us as soon as possible. We’re excited to see you all amongst the orchard this FRIDAY & SATURDAY – well worth the drive out 180 East and still starting at 7:00am this week! A very clean and organized home full of both modern and vintage items ready to be loved by you. There’s a quilter’s paradise to shop – foundation patterns, organized pre-cut materials, and even a 2006 Sister’s Outdoor Quilt Show Raffle Quilt pattern with ALL the material needed to create it! Tons more sewing notions, an efficient sewing table and a well-cared for Elna 683 surger. MANY wonderful, uncut vintage sewing patterns as well. There are several pieces of women’s vintage Pendleton wool suit separates as well. Check the master closet picture for the skirts, jackets, and pants available in pristine condition!
There is beautiful solid wood furniture throughout the home: French Provincial bedroom set, Lane cedar chest, Nichols & Stone Rocking chair, Oasis Island folding kitchen cart, and an HT Cushman folding telephone table. A stunning dining table (check out the legs on that baby) and 4 matching chairs. One of the most unique pieces in the estate is the handmade chair from M. Friedman & Co. – a symbol of quality and status throughout the 1800s and up until the 1930s. Really interesting melding of styles, unsure on the upholstery if original or not, but either way – WOW.
There are a dozens of instructional guides for an incredible number of crafts! If it’s sewing, crochet, knitting, heck, even rock polishing, there’s a like-new book for it here! There are also fun things like games and puzzles and stuff to keep your kids from rushing you back to the car. The kitchen is full of all the necessities including a beautiful 5 Qt Kitchen Aid Stand mixer with bowl lift, a hand mixer, and many other small appliances. A set of 4 Bauer mixing bowls and a lovely vase by them as well. A handsome set of Noritake dinnerwear in the Sunny Side pattern – super cute.
Yes, yes there’s “Guy Stuff” too! There’s lots to check out in the garage and the shop. There are tools, random car parts, hardware, a solid brass bed, a workhorse of an air compressor and a beefy Frankensteinesque rolling workbench that would make anyone look overly-capable. Check out that awesome P&D Parts cabinet, too! There’s a working chest freezer, cleaning supplies, and other general household items.
As you see, LOTS AND LOTS to be explored this week! Very easy 20 minute drive from Central Fresno, and hopefully not too bad from where you’re coming from. See you soon! SOME NOTES ABOUT THE PROPERTY:
