"Linda received a master's degree in library science at U.C Berkeley. Linda had a long and rewarding career as a librarian, first at the Gleeson Library at USF and then at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. A colleague described Linda as a 'reference librarian extraordinaire'. She was proud of and knowledgeable about the Hoover Library's world class collection of 20th century history. Scholars from all over the world kept in touch with her and often wrote her to plan their research trips in advance. In the 70s, 80s and early 90s Linda was an essential part of what made research at Hoover so successful and rewarding."
