A LIFETIME OF COLLECTING, OPENED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OVER 20 YEARS

He lived out in the farmlands of North County San Diego, always buying, selling and trading paintings. When he got sick, everything went into a storage container, and the doors stayed locked for more than twenty years. Now it's finally coming out, and we want every piece hanging proudly in a new home.

That's why every lot opens low with no reserves. Bid from home, then pick up free in your part of SoCal or have it delivered to your door.

WHAT'S INSIDE

  1. Sunlit European village streets and Mediterranean coastlines
  2. Budapest tavern scenes and Victorian ladies by the water
  3. Autumn woods, mountain lakes and quiet portraits
  4. Ornate gold gilt frames
  5. Chinese silk embroidery, hand colored engravings and vintage prints

A few to look for: a Polseno oil of Victorian ladies by the water, a Kun Laszlo Budapest tavern scene, a signed Fochte autumn woodland stream, and an original pastel portrait called The Fiddler.

An honest word: most of these are originals by lesser known and unsigned artists, the handsome kind of painting that makes a room feel lived in. A few are real surprises. We'll let you decide which ones.

HOW TO BID
