Description & Details
In case you wonder why we called this Estate Sale “Treasure Hunt” here is the answer: the house belonged to a collector who collected everything possible. From Elvis Presley memorabilia including magazines, books, newspapers, to hundreds of 1970’s and 1980’s records, hundreds of Beanie Bears and Avon decorations and to top all of, over 150 postcards going to back to 1906. Over 100 presidential pins and 1980 Olympic pins! It is impossible for us to price everything according to the market given the time we have given so here you go; this is your “Treasure Hunt”. Gold and custom jewelry, toys, figurines for kids all boxed, vintage X-mas ornaments, cake molds, a vintage fishing rod and a vintage fire extinguisher. From the original Thomasville black Asian bedroom set, to the mid-century couches with Asian design, this makes this Estate Sale a decorator dream. The living room continues with a gorgeous mid-century heavy marble coffee table, mid- century and a gorgeous large China Cabinet hand carved with dragons in almost new conditions. Asian style bookcase, dresser and a China cabinet with over 60 pieces of Avon ruby dishes, goblets, and decanter prove the previous owner taste that completes this with a “Yawman & Erbe” file cabinet with four drawers dating back to early 1900’s. Large collections of jars including Ball and Macon and many gemstones. Over 300 books with many published by Heritage in 1940’s with original slipcase. Amongst the books, there are a lot of cooking books and a large set about antiques and collectibles. The pool table comes with the cue holder, the lamp and two high chairs. Small bookcases around the rooms, an Asian antique marble top chair and a gorgeous Asian style settee complete the living room. Prints by De Garza, paintings, various vintage lamps, old frames, pots and pans, wrought iron Art Deco sconces, just to name a few of the treasures of this eclectic place.
