The former home of the famous character actress Kathleen Freeman sits on a 1/2 acre lot in an area of homes known for frequent filming of motion pictures and commercials. (In fact filming was taking place last week!) Kathleen Freeman was an American film, television and stage actress during her 50+ years in the business. She started her career dancing in her parents' vaudeville act and began acting in films in 1948. Once you see her face, you recognize her immediately! Her credits are too numerous to outline here but she worked with Lucille Ball, Jerry Lewis, had many TV roles, is well known as Sister Mary Stigmata in the Blues Brothers films, and ended her career on Broadway in The Full Monty.

The home holds "not your run of the mill" furnishings, but unusual antique pieces that make a statement! The antique dining room table has extendable arms that expand the length to well over 10 feet. The buffet is an incredible piece with a marble top, ornate gold applique and very unusual beveled glass doors! The wonderful blue velvet couch is wonderful, as wide as a bed with those incredible claw feet! The coffee table is very unusual with a marble top and pull out writing "desks" on both ends! And the two ultra low antique chairs are a perfect match! Other furnishings include upholstered wing-back chairs, side chairs, foot stools, end tables, a pair of cloissonne table lamps, several chandeliers,a pair of antique four poster twin beds, trunks..(especially special is the "Stowaway" rolling blanket box that fits under a bed...very rare!, an old oak dresser with marble top, office furniture, an entertainment center, barware, artwork, kitchenware, crystal, some sterling pieces, many smalls are everywhere, books (many on the subject of the theatre and acting...and many cookbooks), some Hollywood memorabilia related to Kathleen, tons of outdoor goodies including OLD wrought iron patio furniture, accessories, plants, and more, more, more!!!
