HOME OF FORMER ANTIQUES DEALER - ALL MUST GO!
IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL, WE WILL NOT BE HOLDING THIS ESTATE SALE ON THURSDAY. THE SALE WILL BEGIN AT 8:30 AM ON FRIDAY AND RUN THROUGH SUNDAY. I AM SORRY FOR THIS CHANGE, BUT HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL BEGINNING FRIDAY MORN.
This is a tough sale for us, but a great one for buyers. This sale was scheduled for late September. Unfortunately, the house sold on a super-short escrow and the new owners are taking possession next week. This means that we have very little time for research or proper pricing. What's more, this sale is happening on Labor Day Weekend. What this means for buyers is less competition, and low blowout prices for a home rife with antiques and collectibles.
We just started sorting and tagging on Sunday. We have a few pictures, and a few item descriptions as of today, and more will be added every day up to the sale. They are:
Hundreds of books of every kind and topic. Some antique/vintage, some new. They cover a wide range of topics, including history, biography, psychiatry, medical, finance, classic fiction, children's, scores of antique reference books, and more. Because the owner was an antiques dealer, some of these books were to be sold in her shop and have some great appeal, such as the Fibber McGee and Molly Cookbook, among others.
