Description & Details

This sale takes place in the former home of a person who was in the creative world of costuming, related arts & crafts, and was a devotee of contemporary popular culture’s entry to science fiction.

Within this sale, one will find a massive collection devoted to the honored television and feature film series Star Trek. There are patches, buttons, books and magazines paying tribute to the many Star Trek universes, boxed board games and related figurines, drinking glass sets, DVD collections of the feature film titles and TV series episodes related to the Star Trek franchise, as well as t-shits, jackets, an original fiberboard ‘standee’ display item from Deep Space Nine, and a framed one-sheet poster for Star Trek-The Motion Picture ready for display. Not a Trekker? There are also items related to Star Wars, and Doctor Who (21st century period entries) to satisfy one’s sci-fi/fantasy quest.

In addition, there are kitchen dishware, metal pots, pans, utensils and glassware, decorative crystal sets, Christmas related items, a roll top desk, and an upright full-sized piano that can create a traditional piano sound and a tone mimicking a western saloon piano or to accommodate music cues for silent movie screenings! Media items includes single and boxed set DVDs, audio CDs, a Nintendo Wii system with software, and 12” vinyl records of 1950s-1960s-era folk music artists among other titles/genres. There are bedroom accessories such as towels, linens and bedwear, a woman’s clothing wardrobe, a full-sized bed with frame, a solid and large clothing bureau, bathroom items including sick room supplies with wheelchairs, walkers, and a heavy vinyl shower with toilet chair.

There is also a large collection of arts & crafts sewing items including swatches, fabric material for costume creation, and a Baby Lock Crescendo programmable sewing machine.

Other items include large and small living and dining room furniture such as dining room tables with chairs, end and coffee tables, an upright china cabinet, framed and unframed photographs of artistic scenes captured by the original dweller of the home, a framed and signed drawing by artist Norberlo Heyes, a framed publicity photo from the TV series Mr. Belvedere signed by Christopher Hewett and Bob Uecker, and other related decorative pieces.

Disneyana also lives here! One will find a collection of metal Disney pins for wearing on clothing or to trade with other pin collectors, Disney inspired clothing such as t-shirts and jackets, and a bevy of Disney ceramic figures. There is framed collection of metal pins from the 1984 summer Olympics with corporate sponsor’s logos and with the game’s mascot Sam the Eagle as originally designed by The Walt Disney Studios, full sets of 9”x12” “lobby cards” for Disney films released/re-released in theaters in the 1970’s, and limited-edition lithographs from The Three Little Pigs and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. An additional non-Disney lobby card collection include a set of eight 9”x12” stills from the film E.T. with a 1982-era single sheet folded theatrical poster.

There is a framed original animation cel with its pencil test sketch of the “Sally” character from the feature film Race For Your Life Charlie Brown. There are also Hummel figurines and other molded ceramic items for display

Appliances include two full sized “side-by-side”-style refrigerators made by Kenmore and Whirlpool, a LG washer/dryer set, table top kitchen appliances such as a Ninja blender set, a Crock Pot branded slow cooker, an oven broiler, two drip coffee makers, and a microwave oven. Electronics include a 48” Panasonic plasma hi-def TV set, an iMac desktop computer, three Mac Pro desktop machines with monitors, and a multi-speaker surround audio system with woofer. There are also camera supplies including straps, lens covers, and a collection of hand-held stand-alone AA/AAA battery powered digital cameras.

Office supplies include notebooks and notepads, realms of colored 8x10 paper sheets, with pens, staple guns and staples. There are also hard and soft cover books to add to a home library

Outdoor items include metal patio furniture, a marble top table with matching chairs, and hardware related hand tools, cleaning supplies, and power strips/extension cords.

And there will be a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero GLI sedan that has body damage yet in operational conduction. This car was once “advertised” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (See link!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvAdoolStzc

There are also many other items to choose from that must be seen in person! This sale is ideal to add to one’s collection of favorite and practical items for everyday use. If one is going to live long and prosper, this estate sale would be its start!
