Estate Sales Los Angeles will be conducting an estate this weekend in Woodland Hills, CA. This is the estate of the late Daniel R Symmes director; producer and writer (see IMDB http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0838690 ). Mr. Symmes was most known for his works, teachings and perfecting of the 3D world. Many of you might be familiar with his book: "Amazing 3-D" (book), Boston, Mass. (USA): Little, Brown and Company, 1982 ISBN 0316582832 (paperback), ISBN 0316582840 (hardcover). Included in this sale will be all of his films, computers, scripts, cameras, personal collection of his 3D world and more. Included in his library of over 2000 books and magazines to include issues of Picturegoer, Modern Screen, Motion Picture, Picture Post, Movie Stars, Screen Stars, Popular Science, Silver Screen, Broadcasting Telecasting, Brief, Coronet, Filmland, Jet, Showmen’s Trade Review, Boxoffice, Motion Picture Herald just to name a few. In the electronics and computer area of the estate you will find names like JVC, Klipsch, Sony, Panasonic, Fostex, Realeyes, Toshiba, Soundcraftsman, Olympus and others. In the area of 3D glasses there are more than 7500 pair. This collection has anything from high end Polaroid to inexpensive movie give away glasses. Not to mention in the camera where you will find names like Keystone, Revere, Cinemage, Realist, Bausch & Lomb, Duplux, Nimslo, Arcadia and Fisherview just to name a few. We will be updating the site on a daily basis as we progress. Our sale will begin on Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. to guarantee a parking we suggest that you get to the sale early. Please read the parking signs to assure that you do not get a parking ticket. Address of the sale will be posted at 8:00 a.m. Friday morning.
