1972 Mercury Cougar – All Original Grandma Special
This is the kind of car enthusiasts love to find—an exceptionally original, unmodified survivor that has been well cared for throughout its life. Purchased new from Beverly Hills Mercury on February 8, 1972, this one-owner, garage-kept California car features its original paint, a 351 V8 with a 2-barrel carburetor, a beautiful vinyl top that presents extremely well, excellent original upholstery, and has been kept in this same garage since 1972. We added fuel directly to the carburetor to verify operation, and the engine fired right up, ran smoothly, and sounded excellent. We have not attempted to drive the vehicle or run it from the fuel tank, so it is being sold as-is. This is a truly original example that has not been modified or altered over the years. If you've been searching for an honest, highly original grandma car that has escaped years of modifications, this is an outstanding opportunity. Please ask to see the two videos showing the engine starting and running.
