SHIPPING DETAILS - LOCAL PICK-UP IS PREFERRED!

PICK-UP:
Pick-up will be in Yorba Linda on Saturday, May 30th from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. Please ONLY bid if you are able to attend the pick-up or if you have made arrangements with us to have your item(s) shipped.

SHIPPING:
Shipping is available at the buyer's expense. Shipping on SMALL items only. If you would like an item shipped, please email 411@ctlaoc.com BEFORE BIDDING to make sure we are able to ship it.
We generally use USPS Mail. After your invoice is paid, you will receive a separate PayPal invoice for that includes a $10 per lot handling fee.
When possible, we may be able to offer USPS Media Mail service for books, magazines, posters, and other items.
Please Note: Shipping charges are VERY expensive as they include packing, shipping, and any insurance that you want to purchase. Please take this into account when bidding. If shipping charges are not paid for, you forfeit your item(s) and they may be resold/donated.
Insurance may be required for items valued over $100 that require shipping.
Shipping and handling charges are billed separately and need to be paid prior to the shipment being sent. Shipping invoice will be sent after the in person pick up date usually no later than Wednesday.
GOOD NEWS ABOUT FURNITURE DELIVERY. We have negotiated special pricing with Ortega Delivery in Costa Mesa. They will pick up from our pick-up location and deliver furniture throughout southern California at a 20% discounted rate. Email or call us for details.

PAYMENT DETAILS
Bidding Terms & Conditions:

Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you win, you must pick up your item(s) or make shipping arrangements.
If you default on your purchase, your bidding privileges will be revoked permanently. Do not bid if you do not plan to purchase.
If you bid, you MUST be available, or arrange for, the pick-up of your purchases on the pick-up date unless you have made prior shipping arrangements.
Bring necessary tools and help for picking up large items. Loading assistance is NOT available. Some items may be located on a 2nd floor, basement or out building.
Invoices are emailed to winning bidders once the sale has completely closed. Full payment must be made by date/time listed on your invoice. You can pay via a PayPal account or on PayPal as a 'guest' with a major credit/debit card.
If we do not hear from you by the payment deadline, your items will be resold and your bidding privileges will be revoked.
SHIPPING: Shipping is available at the buyer's expense including a $10 per lot handling fee. Please see Shipping Terms for additional details. NOT ALL LOTS CAN BE SHIPPED - NO SHIPPING ON FURNITURE OR OTHER LARGE ITEMS. If you require shipping, please send an email before bidding to 411@ctlaoc.com to inquire and let us know you will need shipping.
All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped. Items to be shipped cannot be removed from the location without payment. Therefore, if total payment is not received before the local pick-up date & time, the items will be forfeited and bidding privileges revoked.
The exact address of the scheduled pick-up will be on the invoice e-mailed after the auction goes offline.
All items not picked up during the scheduled pick-up time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold.
A 15% Buyer's Premium plus Sales Tax will be added to the final bid amount when invoiced.
We have made every effort to describe lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold AS IS WHERE IS. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Dimensions given may be approximate.

Our auction site is designed to replicate a live auction. When bids are placed near the close of an item, extra time is added to allow all bidders a chance to win the item. If identical bids are placed on an item, the first person to place their bid will be awarded the item.
