It's been a while since we've had a sale - we've been catching up after the log mansion. We are proud to bring our customers a unique sale, and frankly, a very fun sale. It's five buildings on two lots right in  the heart of downtown Denver. 50+ years of a single family living in these buildings, and a wealth of accumulation...so much so that we can't have a typical sale. The family needs the houses cleared out and due to time constraints, we can't have a normal sale and we apologize to our clients - but we think the sale we'll be having will be just as fun. 

It's a Bring Your Own Shovel Sale! That's right, for two days only you can come, dig through the boxes and storage areas in the house, and we'll price it as you leave! Bring lots of boxes, lots of paper, and a pension for digging. EVERY nook and cranny is just chock full, stuffed to the brim with decades of hoarding. There's no telling what you'll find...You'll see it as soon as we see it! 

We will have a checkout table and employees around the house, but you will get to dig through everything and have a chance to buy what you find...who knows what lies in the depth of this house! The family owned a Chemical Engineering company and an Assay office for a number of years, run right out of their garage. There is scientific equipment, tools galore, scrap metal, lumber and piping, books, clothing purses in abundance...and this is just the stuff on the surface. Take a look at the pictures and come see for yourself!

It's hard for us to tell you what will be in the sale, but this is what we've seen on the surface:

• A selection of scientific equipment: beakers, vials, hoses, test tubes, mortar & pestles, manuals, books, experiments, home-made equipment and so much more.
• TOOLS!! A full garage of tools, old hand tools, power tools, unique and unusual tools...in addition to another house of tools and a workroom in a basement. Some tools go as far back as the turn of the century!
• Sewing Notions! Buttons, fabric, material, zippers and clasps...boxes upon boxes of sewing items here. Racks of those boxes. We can't even wrap our heads around it all!
• KITCHEN ITEMS ABOUND! Seriously, we're not sure how they packed so much into this kitchen. Dishes, pots & pans, Glassware, utensils, food, everyday items and unique serving items. 
• Books! Books on so many subjects, Chemical Engineering, scientific pursuits, fiction, non fiction, reference...at least four places in the buildings have hundreds of books!
• CLOTHING! Holy cow...that's all we can say. Almost a dozen closets, several layers deep of everything from vintage clothing, to everyday clothing. Coats, dresses, slacks, shirts, pants...so much clothing... 
• Purses and shoes! To match the quantity of the clothing for sure. Multiples of nearly everything bought and stored in plastic tubs, most with tags still on them! Come and spruce up your accessory wardrobe for years!
• Chemicals and tools - small selection of townhome handy tools, LOTS of cleaning supplies and chemicals; Swiffer, Bleach, Soap etc. 
• Toys - We've seen some great old toys laying around, who knows how much more there will be.
• Everyday items - Trays, Cups, Crystal, Glassware...just boxes and boxes of so much stuff, its impossible to get through it all without an army of customers...and that's where you come in!

We ask that you be respectful and do not ransack the house, replacing items you do not want in places you found them. We will have staff on site, but please be prepared or able to carry and move your own items. We also ask that people be careful, some of these homes and stacks of boxes are precarious, we don't want any accidents to happen. 

You've all wanted to dig, to go through a house before anyone else...here's your chance!

The family will also be considering offers on the homes. Five building in downtown Denver - a developer's paradise! Zoned for Commercial use, or easily remade into rentals, lots of potential here! Please inquire within for details.
