A bit of Denver furniture history estate sale

By Googie Down

Spend $10 or more and get 50% off your total purchase. Saturday from 9 - 3.

We are excited to bring you this next estate sale. This family owned Franklin Furniture, a Denver landmark furniture company, from 1945 through the 1990's. It was so big and popular, it grossed over $1 million in sales alone in 1963 (according to the Denver Post). I'd bet that much of the mid century furniture you find at today's estate sales was purchased at one of Franklin Furniture stores.

What's even better is that we will have a several high-end designer pieces from Franklin Furniture in this estate sale, pieces dating back to the late 1970's and early 1980's. We have pieces that are so "American Gigolo" modern, clean-lined with sleek decor. There's no question about the soft pastel and gold palette that you'll find at this sale, too. We also have a nice selection of soothing and spiritual Japanese-inspired pieces and high quality decorative arts and collectibles. Finally, we have a nice set of Italian metal kitchen chairs, just to spice things up. All from Franklin Furniture and family owned.

If you are looking for a key designer piece with trends of the late 1970's and early 1980's, or high quality decorative art pieces, you won't be disappointed with this sale. Interior decorators, designers, collectors or re-sellers, put this sale on your list. It is a small sale, but worth a stop in. This sale is in the Denver Winston Downs mid century modern neighborhood.
