Bye Gones Estate & Moving Sales

We are excited about this week’s sale!  Our client’s parents moved to Greeley from Germany in the 1950’s.  They always shared a passion for Vintage and Antique items, their greatest source of entertainment was frequenting various auctions & antique malls in search of unique, rare and ideal treasures suitable to add to their collections.  When you see the volume of items and the care taken for them you’d swear they must have had a store of their own at one time but you’d be wrong.  You’ll find that about 50% of their things are from Germany and their neighboring countries the other half originating in the USA.

The man of the house was crazy for Cuckoo Clocks and anything to do with the Railroad!  Please view our pictures to get an idea of the many clocks and clock parts available! 

Railroad, we have Advertising Posters, Signs, Artwork, Variety of photos, Books, Train Schedules, Magazines, Buildings & Bridges for model train set up, Manuals, Informational Material on various model trains & tracks, Unique Train Décor, RR Lanterns, Dishes from Dining Cars, RR Spittoon, Postcards & Free standing, cast iron flags/signage used along railways and more!

The lady of the house loved Linens, China, Dolls/Toys & Early Kitchen Items.  The Linen is amazing and there is so much of it!  Most is starched, pressed and in very good condition!  There’s old, some new & the majority is high quality!  You’ll find every type of Linen imaginable, guarantee it!  In addition we have Sewing Notions, Arts and Craft Supplies, Material, Stitchery Kits, Tapestries, Old Hand Crocheted Lace, Yarn & Antique Implements.  We even have a “Horace Greeley Flour Company” flour bag along with others.

An Abundance of Gorgeous, Hand Painted China Serving Pieces and Dinnerware by Royal Coppenhagen, Royal Daulton, Royal Stafford, Havilland Limoges, Bavaria, Delft Blue, Prussia, Rosenthal (to name a few).  There’s also Tea Cup & Saucer collection!

We have 1 room full of Dolls & Toys!  Doll Cloths, Doll House, Barbie’s, Troll’s, Tonka Trucks (large and small), Model Motorcycles, Stuffed Animals, Board Games, Wooden Blocks, Childs table + Chairs, 2 Wagons, Baseball Mitts, etc.

Kitchen has many pieces of Enamelware; most are vintage and very unique!  There’s also Clay Bowls and Canisters/Crocks, Many Blue & White Dishes by different makers.  There’s so many Kitchen items that we were forced to put a lot of it in the garage!
