Cobblestone Too!
Description & Details
For the first time in 30 years, the private storage vault of renowned Denver and Iowa Modernist artist Silvio Carl Fracassini (1907–1997) is open to the public. Cobblestone Too is hosting this massive, historic estate studio liquidation featuring unseen pieces of mid-century art.
Fracassini was an icon of regional modern art. He studied under legends Vance Kirkland and Walt Kuhn, and later served as a beloved fine arts professor at the University of Denver and the University of Iowa.
This is not a house estate sale—it is an organized gallery-style liquidation inside a secure shop. Because the initial opening rush has passed, you can now browse the massive collection comfortably without the frantic crowds. New pieces are being unrolled, framed, and displayed daily as space allows.
Even prominent collectors—including Hugh Grant, the founder of the Vance Kirkland Museum—have stopped by to acquire pieces from this estate!
