This is a wonderful sale from the estate of lifetime African art collectors and world travelers! This family has lived in Africa for many years, and most (if not all) of these items were purchased directly from the tribes and tradesman. Many of the masks were purchased while in the Peace Corps in the 1970s --and were possibly decades old already at that time!
