This auction marks the inaugural offering from The Bagale Collection, the lifetime collection of the late Dr. E. John Bagale, a respected Pueblo-area physician, historian, and dedicated collector whose passion for military history spanned decades. Over a lifetime of collecting and research, Dr. Bagale assembled an extensive collection of militaria, historical artifacts, reference materials, and military memorabilia documenting some of the most significant periods of modern history.

This session features a diverse selection of Imperial German and WWII-era material, including swords, daggers, medals, insignia, patches, reservistika memorials, military photo albums, field and medical kits, propaganda materials, optics, artwork, books, uniforms, and related historical artifacts. The collection has been carefully cataloged and reviewed using collector research, historical references, and consultation with experienced historians and collectors. Select lots may include accompanying research, provenance, period documentation, or collector notes accumulated during Dr. Bagale's decades of study and collecting. Collectors will appreciate both the breadth of the material and the historical significance represented throughout this offering. Many items have remained in long-term private ownership for decades and are being publicly offered for the first time.

The Bagale Collection will be presented in a series of auctions over the coming months. This inaugural offering consists of two separate sessions, with Session I beginning Sunday, July 12th at 6:00 PM MT and Session II beginning Monday, July 13th at 6:00 PM MT. Future sessions will continue to feature additional militaria, historical artifacts, books, uniforms, edged weapons, photographs, and research materials from Dr. Bagale's lifetime collection.
