Registration: Welcome to Oak and Key Estates Online Auctions (OKEOA)If you are new to our site, please register and add credit card information to your account to place a bid. Bidding: Our auction site is designed to replicate a live auction. When bids are placed near the close of an item, extra time is added to allow all bidders a chance to win the item. If identical highest bids are placed on an item, the first person to place their bid will be awarded. To bid, place your maximum bid in the open field and the system will bid automatically and incrementally for you up to your maximum amount.
Payment: Payment must be fully completed within 24 hours of auction close. *If you do not receive a copy of your invoice via email, please log into your account and click “Invoices” from the top menu bar to ensure yours is paid.
Pick-up: The full address for pick-up will be on winning bidders' invoices. You MUST bring all necessary help, vehicles, materials, etc. for lifting and loading won items. Staff are not authorized to move furniture and other large, heavy items at pick-ups.
Shipping: Shipping is available on select items only (no rugs, furniture, or large items) at buyer's request and expense. Please make sure your address is correct before placing a bid. Items will be shipped to the address that appears on your invoice for that auction. If you have not updated your address, OKEOA is not liable for items sent to the wrong address. If shipping is requested, a separate shipping payment will be required from the bidder. The shipping invoice will be emailed to the bidder within 7 days of the auction’s end. Shipping payment is expected within 48 hours, or the item will be forfeited.
Terms: All items are sold AS IS WHERE IS. No refunds or returns. All sales are final. Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase and a winning bid is a contract between you and the seller. All items not picked up during the scheduled pick-up time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold with no refund. Non-payment of your invoice by the payment deadline or non-attendance at the pick-up may result in bidder account suspension.
By having a credit card on file, you agree and acknowledge that you will maintain valid payment information within your user profile so long as you maintain an account with OKEOA, and that you are authorized to use the designated credit card. OKEOA reserves the right to cancel listings or bids or suspend bidding privileges of any user not maintaining a valid credit card. If your credit card payment fails or your account is past due, we may collect amounts owed by charging other payment methods on file with us, and/or retain collection agencies and legal counsel. In addition, you may be subject to late fees and interest, which will not exceed the maximum amount permitted by applicable law.
If you do not elect a fulfillment method and do not pick the item(s) up during the scheduled pickup time outlined on our Terms and Conditions or your receipt, OKEOA reserves the right to charge your credit card on file for the greater of the total purchase price of the item plus any applicable handling fees. BIDDERS WILL FORFEIT ITEMS THAT ARE NOT PICKED UP ON THE DESIGNATED PICKUP DAY, OR SHIPPING REQUESTS FOR ITEMS THAT HAVEN’T BEEN COMMUNICATED BEFORE THE PICKUP DAY. You hereby expressly grant OKEOA the right to hold a winning item until confirmation of cleared funds has been received by OKEOA. Winning bidders with questions on payment should contact us immediately.
