Welcome to the estate of Mrs. Virginia Shippey. Mrs. Shippey originally founded the Teller County Arts and Crafts Guild, the organization ultimately evolved into the Mountain Artists in Teller County. The art room at this sale is AMAZING and any artist would be happy with the items for sale. We have everything from paint brushes to canvas to frames and so much more! We have antique furniture,  glassware and artwork. We have flatware from the Civil War! Almost all of the clothing is handmade and Mrs. Shippey was quite the crochet and needle work artist! How about Frankoma pottery? Quilts? Hoosier cabinet? Oh and let’s not forget a projector with screen! The garage has so many Craftsman tools that would make any workshop complete.
