Darien Finds: Furniture, Original Art, China, Build-a-Bear, and More

More than 200 lots are open for bidding, drawn from Darien-area homes: mid-century and traditional furniture, Lloyd Flanders wicker patio sets, Ethan Allen and West Elm pieces, and a set of Queen Anne mahogany dining chairs.

Several original paintings by Darien artists Britt Bair and Robert Johnson are in the sale, along with framed mirrors, table lamps and prints.

The kitchen and dining lots run deep — Villeroy & Boch, Lenox, Wilton Armetale, MacKenzie-Childs, vintage CorningWare and Pyrex, Luigi Bormioli glassware, and a good run of Anchor Hocking refrigerator dishes.

There's also vintage advertising (a 1933 Maxwell House ad, a 1923 Jell-O print, a 7UP neon display), Halloween décor including a Department 56 village, children's furniture and a collection of Build-A-Bear outfits.
