Important Payment, Condition and Shipping Information for Bidders


Condition:

The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging. Detailed condition information is available by request, no later than 24 hours prior to the auction.

All lots are offered and sold "as is". Condition requests can be made via email. Unless otherwise indicated, the wear for each auction item is consistent with age. Any condition statement given as a courtesy to a client, is only an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact.

Connecticut Art & Estate Auctions (CAEA) shall have no responsibility for any error or omission and does not guarantee the authenticity of any item, signature or suggested attribution to an artist.

CAEA does not provide refunds based on condition or for any other reason. Lamps have not been tested and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated.


Shipping and Pick-Up:


CAEA does not provide any shipping or packing services.

As below, we can provide recommended shippers, who can provide quotes prior to or after bidding. ALL items won should be picked-up within 10 days of the date of the auction.

Items can be picked-up by appointment at our Warehouse Facilityin New Milford, CT. Number for phone or text is 914 844 8773. Regular hours are 1PM to 6PM Monday thru Sunday. Open 11AM on Saturdays.


Buyer Pays Shipping and Packing Costs...For shipping, please contact UPS as below by phone or e-mail to get a shipping quote... Address any e-mail to the Manager, William Creasey, of if you call ask for him.. And in all cases, be sure to provide the dimensions as posted on the Auction item profile and indicate the destination. Also, kindly indicate that you are reaching out on behalf Mike Segal from Connecticut Art & Estate Auctions in New Milford, CT.

After you give me the OK, we will bring the piece to UPS.
