All property offered and sold through Westport Auction shall be offered and sold on the terms
and conditions below. By bidding at the auction, whether present in person or by agent, by
written bid, telephone, internet, or other means, the buyer agrees to be bound by these terms and
conditions. All bidders using third-party platforms such as LiveAuctioneers or Invaluable are
also subject to those platforms? additional terms and conditions.
1. All Items Sold As-Is
All items are sold as-is, where-is, with all faults. All sales are final. There are no returns, refunds,
or exceptions. Items are sold to the highest bidder accepted by the auctioneer. The auctioneer
reserves the right to reject any bid, reopen bidding at the auctioneer?s discretion, withdraw any
item, cancel a sale at any time or reoffer an item at another time.
Buyers have 15 days after the auction date to notify Westport Auction of a gross
misrepresentation of an item. Westport Auction will not be responsible for any claims
concerning items after 15 days from the auction date.
The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or
completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging. Condition requests can
be requested via email. Any condition statement given, as a courtesy to a client, is only an
opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact. Westport Auction shall have no
responsibility for any error or omission.
2. Buyer?s Premium and Online Bidding
LiveAuctioneers bidders must complete payment through LivePayments and are bound by
LivePayments terms. Invoices are subject to additional service fees from LivePayments. Bidders
are charged by LiveAuctioneers shortly after the conclusion of the sale. There are no other
payment options on LiveAuctioneers except that invoices of $5,000.00 and over must be paid by
guaranteed funds (cash, bank check, or wire transfer). Non-payment of an invoice will result in a
dispute on LiveAuctioneers. All invoices are subject to a 28% buyers premium.
Invaluable bidders receive invoices from and pay Westport Auction directly (Westport Auction
does not use Invaluable?s invoicing system at this time). Lowest possible buyers premium on
Invaluable is 28% when paying via cash, check or wire transfer.
Westport Auction?s bidding platform, phone bidders and in-person bidders:
The standard buyers premium is 28%. A reduction in the buyers premium is available when
paying via cash, check or bank wire transfer to 25%.

transfer, international wire transfer, or ACH. We do not accept PayPal, Zelle, Wise, Venmo, or

Bidders authorize Westport Auction to charge the credit card supplied at the time of registration
if payment is not made within the auction?s specific payment time frame. Failure to pay within
the designated payment period will result in a dispute being placed on the bidder?s account and
the bidder being blocked from future bidding with Westport Auction. The dispute will be
resolved only once full payment is received.
4. Sales Tax

once the buyer provides photos of the damaged items and packaging. Do not discard any
