TERMS & CONDITIONS — 21st Century Antiques

1. BINDING AGREEMENT
By bidding on any auction, you are entering into a binding legal agreement with 21st Century Antiques.

2. ALL SALES FINAL
All bids submitted are final and irrevocable. If you are the highest bidder when the auction closes, you are the new owner of that item.

3. AS-IS CONDITION
21st Century Antiques sells each and every item "as is, where is." We make no representations or warranties with respect to the items in our auctions. Please review all photographs carefully prior to bidding.

4. CONSIGNOR BIDDING & TRANSFER OF RESPONSIBILITY
Consignors and their agents are forbidden from bidding on any item they have consigned. Every item becomes the responsibility of the new owner as soon as the auction closes and the item is sold. If you are the highest bidder, you are responsible for insuring your purchase immediately.

5. REGISTRATION
Registration to bid is free. You must register online with a valid credit card.

6. BUYER'S PREMIUM
Winning bidders are required to pay a buyer's premium of 20% on all purchases.

7. SALES TAX
Winning bidders are required to pay Connecticut State Sales Tax of 6.35% on all purchases. Waived for buyers who provide a valid Resale Certificate prior to the auction start.

8. PAYMENT
The winning bidder's credit card on file will be charged for the sale price plus the buyer's premium and applicable sales tax upon close of the auction or shortly thereafter. Buyers cannot take possession of or remove purchases until the total purchase price has been paid in full.

9. PICKUP
Winning bidders are responsible for picking up their items on the listed pickup dates and times. Purchases not collected by the end of the final scheduled pickup window will be re-sold or disposed of with no refund.

10. REMOVAL & LABOR
Winning bidders are responsible for supplying all labor and materials required for pickup and removal. Staff cannot assist with loading or moving items into vehicles.

11. SHIPPING
No in-house shipping is available. All shipping must be arranged through a third-party provider (Two Sisters Shipping for small items, Lugg or uShip for furniture). All shippers/movers must arrive during scheduled pickup windows.

The Mystic Single Owner Estate Auction, Part 2, comprises 166 lots of folk art, Mid-Century Modern design, and studio art glass, with plenty of whimsical and fun pieces throughout.

Categories with depth include carved and whimsical folk art, signed studio art glass by Josh Simpson, Jeffrey P'an, Anchor Bend Glassworks, and Frederick Warren, custom welded steel Brutalist furniture, and Mid-Century Modern leather upholstered seating. Collectors of artist-made garden and studio metalwork will find three separate works by Pacific Northwest sculptor Tom Torrens in this sale.

Highlights include a Wurlitzer Model 1015 "Bubbler" jukebox, an Elizabeth Mumford New England coastal painting, a Gary Anderson carved and polychrome painted ship's figurehead bust, a Harvey Peterson carved wood harlequin figure, a Barkley L. Hendricks satirical print, three works by Tom Torrens including a large-scale postmodern steel and copper garden sculpture, a steel and copper boat-form bird bath, and a steel Zen circle bird feeder, and a pair of vintage hand-carved carousel horses.

Pickup will be Thursday, September 24th (2–5 PM), Friday, September 25th (12–4 PM), and Saturday, September 26th (12–4 PM) at 21st Century Antiques, The Velvet Mill, Stonington, CT.
