WEDNESDAY 5/2 WHOLE HOUSE ESTATE SALE- SCULPTURES, ART, ART GLASS KNIFE COLLECTION AND MORE

PACKED ESTATE SALE.  THE HOUSE IS SOLD, SO I AM PARTING WITH MY PERSONAL COLLECTION.  WEDNESDAY 5/2, ALL DAY.  POSSIBLY RUN ANOTHER FEW DAYS [as needed].  14 SHORELINE DRIVE IN STRATFORD.  RUN UNTIL 3 PM TODAY

I am letting most of the contents go.  No kitchenware, Christmas decorations, or baby clothing/toys.  Nothing but antiques, artwork, sculptures, vintage/ antique toys, retro video games, antique and studio art glass, mid century modern, and really quirky items.

MARTO OF SPAIN ARMOR- 6 1/2 feet tall, over 100 pounds, and in perfect condition

WW 2 era dive hat- a rare original

100+ knives- folding, fixed, prototype, kukri, gut hooks and more . . .  [nothing Chinese or Pakistan- good makers]

25+ bronze sculptures- no junk or reproductions.  All are signed originals and limited editions- 

jewelry, watches, gold/silver and currency

1700s Samurai helmet- original lacquered iron helmet with menpo/ mask- wear it or [preferably] display it, because it is a rare piece of Japanese armor.  Looks even better in person.

TOYS- vintage Japanese friction cars, 1800s mechanical bank, Hawaiian 50th state bank, video games and systems, comics, G I JOE jet and more

Clocks and watches- Omega watch, pocket watches, carriage clock, mantle clock

Art glass- kralik, loetz, signed, studio . . .

8 foot tall totem- well known Italian designer

Mid century modern- copper sculptures, signed chariot, danish chair, several great bronzes, artwork, floor globe [lighted and pristine]and more

HUGE foo dogs- height of your kitchen counter-top

Camera gear- nothing but vintage- NIKON F2 with lenses, case, extras, MINOLTA, PENTAX, more lenses

My beloved taxidermy bass- he needs a new home . . .very sad

Rumph! 1970s store display in amazing condition- 4 feet tall . . .not something found every day

Too many fun items to list.  Without a warehouse or museum to display it all, I need to sell it all.  Please call 475-319-1085 if interested in stopping over and buying a few unusual items [your wife/ husband will ask why you purchased it, but we know why . . .].  my loss is your monetary gain.  No worries.  I will persevere.  I will cry only after it leaves the house.  I want you to make a profit, re-sellers.  Not a snooty retail shop.

Call the number.  I live in a stuffy beach cooperative.  They find estate sale signs below their upturned noses.  You can walk along the 'private' beach and skip stones if you wish.  You have my permission.  Not an issue.  Simply call 475-319-1085, and we can bypass their oppressiveness together.  

Thanks and hope to see you there!    Here?     Still stuck at the beach until it all sells.  Save me from the heartache of having to live on the water, overlooking the ugliness of Long Island sound, and the gang of seagulls that harass me for a french fry dinner every time I walk away from Marnick's restaurant.  They are real bullies.  I need a safe space.  They follow me home.  I've heard they steal shiny objects.  Beat the seagulls to great deals . . .
