Replacement value appraisal completed in 2008 is $50,300

Perfectly sized Steinway & Sons Model M piano in ebonized finish with bench. Model # M 470908, K2443, manufactured in 1981. Outfitted with a humidifier, the sound board appears to be in excellent condition (see photos). All strings appear tight and intact; the keys all have good movement with the exception of one F#. Please review the photos to see the compromised area. It appears an internal wooden knob has broken off in one place and would need repair to make the piece whole again. We believe this to be a fairly simple fix. 

Ebonized case is in overall good condition with some light wear and scratches from use. There are no major aesthetic issues, simply wear and tear from the last twenty years of enjoyment. Please refer to the photos for details of any imperfections we found. Note that the darker circles in the last few photos are not visible to the naked eye...they showed up much more with the professional camera lights.

Piano measures 5' 7" long x 57.75" wide and weighs approximately 550 lbs. Bench includes hinged seat with storage and measures 35" long x 14.5" wide x 18.5" high.

This truly is a great opportunity to own a quality piece at a fraction of the retail price. The sound board is in great condition, the ebonized case is classic and the size is perfect for most homes!
