The original was displayed at Clyde's restaurant in Tysons Corner, Virginia for nearly 40 years.

The original terra cotta statue was designed by George Stanley (an American sculptor who designed the Academy Award of Merit, also known as the Oscar, and the Muse Statue at the Hollywood Bowl) and was purchased from Georgetown's Inglett-Watson Antique Dealers. It was the centerpiece of an Art Deco water display in the Palm Terrace dining room at the former Clyde's of Tysons Coner (1980-2017). In the mid-80s, a customer fell into the pond while dancing, breaking the statue into many pieces. Repaired by a local company used by the Smithsonian, the resulting statue was near perfect. Five bronze statues were cast from the original sculpture, and several have been in storage since that time."Golf in Deutschland"

A touch of noble worldly elegance can be felt in the picture of this lovely poster for the world-famous hotel in Europe. This poster art was created by the Bernese painter Emil Cardinaux in 1920. This is one of two posters he designed for the famous resort hotel and are among his most stylish works.
