ITEMS ARE SOLD AS-IS. Items are only sold in person, so you can inspect items before you pay.

Doors open at 10am.

We do not manage sign-up lists. Entry is first-come, first-served. If a list is produced when we open our doors, we will honor it with the agreement of those in line.

There will be a limited number of people allowed in the home during the sale. We limit the number for the safety of the items in the home and so you can have an enjoyable shopping experience when you enter. Some of rooms of the home will have a limit the number of shoppers allowed at a time.

We will not allow beverages, large purses, bags or boxes in the home. Additionally, dogs, baby carriers and strollers are not allowed inside. You will be asked to leave these items outside the home or in your car.

All sales are final - there are no refunds or exchanges.

Please note that we charge sales tax on all sales unless you have a valid resale or diplomatic exemption that you can provide to us.

We accept cash, cards, tap-to-pay, and checks up to $200. All card and tap-to-pay purchases will incur an additional 3% processing fee.

Buyers are responsible for removing their purchases from the premises by the close of the sale. We are happy to provide the names of movers who can help.

It is the purchaser's responsibility to have the necessary tools to dismantle furniture, load, and move the items purchased. Any damage caused by negligent moving will be the purchaser’s responsibility.

Staff are not permitted to help with furniture removal, packing purchases, or helping to move them to your car.

We are not responsible for items you purchase and forget to take with you.

Savvy is excited to announce its final sale of 2025, to be hosted at the Kalorama residence and studio of DC contemporary artist Betsy Stewart.

This sale will feature a range of her artworks, showcasing her career-long exploration of the relationships between the micro and macro realms. Additionally, the sale will include items from her studio, including sable brushes, acrylic paint, art pens, tracing and drawing pads, and blank canvases.  

There is a wide selection of fine china, including Wedgewood “Ulander” and Rose Medallion, Wedgwood “Columbia” soup bowls, and Schumann/Dresden plates and serving pieces; a large variety of wine and cocktail stems, including Val St. Lambert; along with flatware and a broad selection of white dishware from Crate and Barrel, perfect for entertaining. Finish off your table with a wide selection of casual and formal linens, including lace tablecloths, napkins, and placemats.

The home includes several collections, including demitasse cups and saucers; silverplate and sterling silver serving dishes and serving pieces, trays, and a complete punch bowl set with cups; studio glass, including Stueben; and lots of studio pottery ranging from vases to plates.

There is also a selection of unique vintage women’s clothing (size S) and shoes (sizes 6.5-7), featuring bold, funky styles reminiscent of New York City in the early 90s.

Furthermore, you will find a wide variety of jewelry, including a large collection of statement necklaces ranging from tribal designs to those handcrafted by Stewart herself.

Furniture available includes an antique Regency-style revolving bookcase, an acrylic-base dining table with a glass top, six metal dining chairs, four Barcelona chairs, four Bertoia side chairs (both by Knoll), and a pair of Gothic Revival cast iron torchieres.

The home also includes a selection of art, children's, and contemporary fiction.
