Savvy will hold a two-day sale in the Barnaby Woods neighborhood of NW DC this weekend. This sale features a well-maintained collection of mid-century rosewood and teak furniture, art, and kitchen items that are perfect for collectors.
Mid-Century highlights include a Danish rosewood dining table and credenza, Niels Moller chairs, an Arne Hovmand Olsen rosewood wall desk, and Ekornes leather "Manhattan" sofa and chair.
The home also showcases timeless entertaining items and a selection of books on history, architecture, fiction, and Judaica.
The sale includes a collection of custom vintage men’s suiting from former DC stores Lewis & Thos Saltz, the Georgetown University Shop, Raleigh’s, and Walter Morton. Women's clothing (sizes 8/10) features vintage Burberry trenches, a Karl Lagerfeld sable fur coat, cashmere sweaters, and an assortment of vintage handbags, leather accessories and scarves.
The kitchen features vintage patterns from Spode, Royal Copenhagen, Pyrex, Corning Ware, and Dansk.
