Description & Details
This is a Phase 2 of our family sale. All new inventory. Did you attend last September? We'd love to see you again, as we've brought many more of our family items to DC from our family home on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
Sale is hosted by me (daughter/granddaughter of original owners) and will be staged at my home in DC.
All categories include vintage items, and some have items that are contemporary and/or new with tags.
Sale item categories:
- Small antique and vintage furniture (secretary desks, footstool, silver chest, assorted dining chairs, etc.)
- Vintage Costume Jewelry (most $1-3 each)
- Decorative and Functional glassware
- Vintage and contemporary kitchen items
- Clothing (Mostly Women size S and M contemporary, Men’s medium casual wear and L/XL suiting, some children's, Vintage women's from Asia and U.S.)
- Women's shoes (new and pre-worn) size 6.5, and most are sizes 9-10
- Vintage table linens, scarves, fabric
- Framed & unframed artwork
- Books (many vintage art books $1 each)
- Small rugs
- Toys: matchbox cars, hot wheels, Hess truck collectibles in boxes, Barbies, Power Wheels Jeep
- Vintage tools
Item’s originate from:
* Artist grandmother's numerous art books from 1950s-1990s
* Maternal grandparents, originally from Georgia, but were stationed with USAID in Ecuador, Peru, Philippines, and India in 1960s and 1970s.
* Parents, who traveled to nearly 100 countries and lived and worked in Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and Philippines.
* Dixon's Auction House in Crumpton, MD. This nationally known auction house is located in a neighboring town, and the family acquired many items at auction over the years.
